My creative journey started in 2014, when I was searching for a way to fundraise for cancer. A cause near and dear to my heart.
That incentive was the catalyst that sparked a love of creating, I dabbled in many different creative outlets, until I found my niche. I create salvage art from discarded junk! A huge part of my art is finding the pieces that spark my imagination. Sometimes, I know immediately what it will become, but most often my “find” speaks to me in some way that I know sooner or later, it’s “encore” will be revealed.
I love the texture and patina of salvage finds and find joy in breathing new life into them, to create a new piece of home and/or garden décor. My pieces are the exact opposite of mass produced. They are one and done!
This creative outlet has led me on the most amazing journey. Allowing me to not only create, but also to meet the most inspiring, creative people. Most who share a commonality of being the kindest people I have had the pleasure of meeting. Many have become friends.
I feel so blessed to have discovered my passion at this stage in my life-my encore and I thank you for being part of it.
